Initial membership costs are as follows:
Waitlist Fee: This is a one-time, non-refundable processing fee of $50.
Bond: West Howard Swim Club is a community owned pool. The Bond fee is $700. A bond is your ownership investment into the pool. Once you decide to sell your membership, and your bond is resold, your bond is refunded. Bond fees are subject to change at annual meetings.
Initiation Fee: The initiation fee of $400 helps with large repairs and improvements. This is a one-time fee. Previous improvements have been resurfacing the deck, replacing our filtration system and adding new pavilions. The Initiation Fee is subject to change at annual meetings.
Annual Dues: The annual dues for the 2025 swim season are $700 for a family membership and $510 for a senior membership. Annual dues go towards the daily operation of the pool.
Total Investment to Join: $1,800 for the 2025 swim season. Total investment for joining is subject to change at annual meetings.
