The West Howard County Swim Club, Inc. was founded in 1983 by three western Howard County families. They canvassed the local community looking for others who saw the vision of a local pool. With an initial investment of $500 a family to purchase the land and build the pool, West Howard Swim Club was opened at the end of July in 1983. The following summer was the inaugural season of our Wahoos swim team!
WHSC is a private swim and tennis club located in Mount Airy, Maryland with a membership of 375 families. We are home of the West Howard Wahoos Swim and Dive Team!
